BOSI Factory Goes Solar for Green & Sustainable Production

Our factory has completed the full installation of photovoltaic systems across the rooftop, with an annual power generation capacity of 60 million kWh. This renewable energy project marks an important step of our factory’s low-carbon transformation, and brings tangible benefits to our production, cost control and environmental protection.

Solar photovoltaic power is clean and renewable. Unlike fossil fuel power generation, it produces no carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide or other pollutants during operation. By using self-generated solar power, we effectively reduce our reliance on conventional grid power and cut our overall carbon emissions. It helps us conserve non-renewable energy resources and fulfill our environmental commitments. As a cosmetic packaging manufacturer exporting products globally, this green energy layout also helps us meet the growing sustainability requirements from overseas customers, including EU circular economy regulations such as PPWR. This solar system also creates positive impacts on our daily manufacturing. Our injection molding, surface finishing, assembly and inspection workshops consume large volumes of electricity. The on-site solar power supply stabilizes our energy costs and reduces the risks caused by fluctuating electricity prices. In addition, photovoltaic power helps ease the pressure on the public grid during peak hours, lowering the possibility of unexpected power outages.
